For the sixth year in a row, Episcopal congregations in towns across northern New Jersey will take to the streets on Ash Wednesday, March 1, marking the beginning of the Christian holy season of Lent by giving “Ashes to Go.”
Our September Active Clergy call will be held in person. Lunch will be provided followed by a 90-minute meeting.
When: Wednesday, September 18th from 12:30-2:30 pm
Where: Episcopal House, 31 Mulberry Street in Newark

God willing, and the People of God consenting, the Right Reverend Carlye J. Hughes, XI Bishop of Newark, will ordain Jacqueline McLeod and Annie Pike to the Vocational Diaconate.
The Anti-Racism Commission of the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey invites you to enroll in the Session of its 20 hours of online Anti-Racism Training streamed to your computer, tablet or mobile phone.
All active clergy in the diocese are required to attend.
Cole Arthur Riley (above) will be the speaker at the 3rd meeting and lunch for Black Women Clergy in the Dioceses of Bethlehem, Connecticut, Long Island, Newark, New Jersey, New York, Rochester, and Western New York.
A retreat for everyone in the ordination process and for all members of the Commission on Ministry.
It will be held at St. Marguerite’s Retreat House in Mendham, on the campus of the Community of St. John Baptist. We will begin with supper on Friday at 6:30 pm and conclude with lunch on Sunday, which starts at 12:30 pm.
The cost is $200, to cover lodging and food.
