After General Convention, Bishop Beckwith and members of the deputation will host two report-back sessions on Thursday, July 9, 10 a.m. - 12 noon and again at 7 - 9 p.m., at St. Agnes' Church in Little Falls.
Bishop Mark Beckwith and a deputation of lay people and clergy will travel to Salt Lake City to represent the Diocese of Newark at the 78th General Convention of the Episcopal Church. Accompanying them for part of Convention will be a group of 11 youth and young adult observers, chaperoned by Kaileen Alston, diocesan Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries and the Rev. Robert Browning, Rector of Grace Church, Rutherford; and Nina Nicholson, diocesan Director of Communications & Technology, who will support the communications efforts of the Newark contingent.
