These dialogues, scheduled for March 13 and 14, 2020, have been postponed until September 2020.

This year’s annual event for retired clergy, their spouses/partners and clergy widows or widowers on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 will be a Zoom meeting.

Clergy Day 2020 will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020, 9 AM - 3:30 PM.

All diocesan events scheduled for April 2020 are canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 146th Annual Diocesan Convention will be held Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Hilton Meadowlands in East Rutherford.

It is expected that every member of the clergy (not employed outside the church) will make every effort to attend.

God willing and the people consenting, the Right Reverend Carlye J. Hughes, Bishop of Newark, will ordain the Rev. Deacon Sharon Sheridan Hausman to the sacred order of priests. A reception will follow.

On Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2 pm, The Rev. Paula J. Toland will be formally instituted as rector of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church by the Rt. Rev. Carlye Hughes, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark. The celebration will take place at St. Stephen's Church, 119 Main Street, Millburn, NJ.

All local clergy are invited to participate and to be vested in the tradition of their clergy denominations. Episcopal clergy are asked to wear white stoles. A reception will take place in the Parish Hall immediately following the service.  ALL ARE WELCOME!
