This Friday and Saturday, Feb. 1 and 2, we will gather for our 145th Annual Diocesan Convention. It will be a Convention of many “firsts,” not the least of which are a new Bishop and a new venue. Here’s what to expect.
Bishop Hughes reminds us that Diocesan Convention in not just one big business meeting, but also a place for the entire community to gather and remember just how diverse we are, just how big we are, just how many ways God blesses us.

After a successful first venture at last year’s Convention, we are pleased to bring back this new program designed to create and enhance supportive networks of individuals in congregations that work on specific roles.
Our 2019 Diocesan Convention is our new Bishop's first, and to help her learn more about our diverse diocese we would like to share stories from as many congregations as possible.
Therefore, I ask each congregation to send me a photo showing your congregation at its best, along with a description of what's happening in that photo. Big bonus points if the photo shows two or more congregations working together collaboratively.
Reservations were taken until noon on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 for exhibit space and ministry display space, and requests were filled on a first come, first served basis.
The space will be available for set up starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023.
These are the exhibitors you will see outside the main ballroom and in the Derby West ballroom at Convention.
A traditional Pre-Convention Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019, 7 PM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, Ridgewood.
