It is with great sadness that we share the news of the deaths of Marjorie A. Eldridge, 79, on September 30, 2015, and H. Douglas Eldridge, 80, on April 11, 2016. Active members of House of Prayer in Newark for decades, Doug served on Diocesan Council and the Department of Missions, and both Marge and Doug served as deputies to Diocesan Convention. They had been married since June 15, 1957.

After eight years of serving as Archdeacon for Administration, Deborah Drake has decided to step down. She has alerted both Peter Jackson and me of her intention. I can’t thank her enough for her commitment, skill and faith during this time. I know that you join me in that sentiment.

With sadness we share the news of the death of Butchild (Butch) Perez, 85, father of the Rev. Gregory Perez, Rector of Trinity Church in Bayonne.

With sadness we share the news of the death of the Rev. Wesley "Wes" Wubbenhorst, 62, on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at his home in Annapolis, MD, of lymphoma. A Requiem Eucharist will be held this Saturday, March 19 at 1 PM at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Baltimore.
