For the fourth Good Friday in a row, the three Episcopal congregations in Jersey City – St. Paul's in Bergen, Grace Van Vorst and Incarnation – joined with local congregations of other denominations in holding a Stations of the Cross at the sites of violent crimes. This year's event received extensive media coverage.

Clifton community shows support for immigrants, refugees and Muslims with prayerful march

Over 75 people from the community joined interfaith clergy and community leaders for a “March and Prayer Service in support of Immigrants, Refugees and Muslims” sponsored by St. Peter’s Church in Clifton on February 19, 2017.

The peaceful gathering allowed members of the community to express their support for immigrants, refugees and Muslims living in Clifton, and to offer prayers for the creation of a welcoming community.
