The licensing procedures for our diocese are in compliance with General Convention of the Episcopal Church. The canonical requirements for liturgical leaders are set out in Title III, Canon 4 of the National Church Canons adopted by the General Convention in 2018.
The application for Licensed Ministry in the Diocese of Newark -- Eucharistic Minister, Eucharistic Visitor, Worship Leader, Preacher, Catechist-- is available in both PDF format and Microsoft Word.
- Eucharistic Visitor and Worship Leader applicants must have completed Safe Church training within the last five (5) years.
- Please include a certificate of completion for this training with the application or contact Randy Johnson to arrange online training.
