Candlelight Vigil for Peace

The recent Grand Jury decisions in Ferguson, Missouri and Staten Island, New York, declining to bring charges in the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, have exposed across the country a level of anger, fear and frustration that goes back for generations.

The Bishop is inviting people from across the diocese to gather at our Cathedral this Sunday evening for a prayer service to offer up our anger, frustration and fear, to pray together for justice and peace, and to commit ourselves to finding hope for the future.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. – John 1:5
