The Very Rev. Canon Edmund Bruce PartridgeWith sadness we share the news of the death of the Very Rev. Canon Edmund Bruce Partridge, 89, on April 23, 2022. He served as Dean of Trinity & St. Philip's Cathedral in Newark and Rector of Grace Church in Rutherford, in addition to a specialty in interim ministries. Read his full obituary here.

His Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Trinity Cathedral in Easton and will be live streamed to Trinity Cathedral, Easton's YouTube channel. Afterwards, it will be available for viewing in that channel's Celebrations of Life playlist.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn; his brother, the Rev. Ivan Partridge, and his sister Margaret Pierce. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Freeburger, whom he married in 2014, eight nieces and nephews, and his dog Chappy.

Good and gracious God, the light of the faithful and shepherd of souls, you sent your servant Ed to be a priest in your Church to feed your sheep with your word and to guide them by his example; give us the grace to keep the faith he taught and to follow in his footsteps. We entrust him into your unfailing mystery of Love and Hope through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
