2023 Confirmation Services
The 2023 Confirmation services will be held on:
- Tuesday, April 18, 7 PM - Church of the Saviour, Denville
- Saturday, April 22, 10 AM - St. Peter's, Essex Fells
- Tuesday, April 25, 7 PM - Calvary, Summit
- Saturday, May 6, 10 AM - St. Michael's, Wayne
- Tuesday, May 9, 7 PM - St. Paul's, Chatham
- Saturday, May 13, 10 AM - Trinity & St. Philip's Cathedral, Newark
To reduce the amount of risk for COVID-19 infection, these services are limited to a maximum of 25 candidates each. While candidates may bring any number of guests with them, 6-8 is a recommended maximum, not including their clergy or sponsors/presenters. Guests may or may not be able to be seated with their candidate, depending on the church and the total number present. All services will be live streamed on the diocesan YouTube channel (youtube.com/c/dionewark) and Facebook page (facebook.com/dionewark).

Registration is closed for all 2023 services.
Confirmation Retreat
All youth candidates are strongly urged to attend our Confirmation Retreat. The event usually includes group-building games and activities, worship and an opportunity to meet in small groups with Bishop Hughes.
Adult candidates are strongly urged to meet with the Bishop at the Confirmation Retreat for worship and lunch.
There will be a $20 fee for youth and adult candidates to cover meals and supplies.
Our next Confirmation Retreat is scheduled for Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Grace Church, Madison. Additional information about retreat registration will be emailed to all 2023 registrants for confirmation, reception and reaffirmation and their clergy.
