In our task and goal-oriented culture, making space to seek God, and to decide and plan based on our faith can seem very difficult. It can seem as if discernment is one more item on our already too long lists. We can wind up using “discernment” as a label for doing what we want or following our passions without ever having engaged with God about where our path seems to be leading – let alone where God wants us to go.

In this workshop Canon Clark and Missioner Cynthia McChesney will lead a discussion about ways to see the stages of our lives, how to invite God into our decision-making, and how to cultivate discernment practices throughout all our lives.
