A new school year is full of promise, and having the necessary tools makes it easier to reach goals. Five congregations have assisted the Prison Ministry of the Diocese of Newark in collecting more than 50 backpacks and supplies for distribution to children impacted by a parent’s incarceration.
Donations have come from Grace Church, Nutley; St Michael’s Church, Wayne; Trinity & St Philip’s Cathedral, Newark; St Stephen’s Church, Milburn; and St James Church, Upper Montclair.
