Training for congregation members to plan and lead the Daily Office (Morning and Evening Prayer) and Ante-Communion (the Liturgy of the Word) is available beginning Tuesday, May 30.
This training is required to be licensed as a Worship Leader (a layperson who leads public worship on a regular basis). This may be especially helpful for churches currently without clergy. Licensing requires permission from your priest (or wardens, in the absence of a priest).
The training consists of four Tuesday evening sessions from 7-8:30 PM, as follows:
- May 30 on Zoom
- June 6 on Zoom
- June 13 on Zoom
- June 27 in-person at Grace, Nutley
(There is no session on June 20.)
The instructors for the course are the Rev. Audrey Hasselbrook, Ms. Gail Barkley, and Canon Andrew Wright.
