Those who attended our Stewardship Evening on February 28 at Episcopal House – 55 people from 35 congregations – spent an evening of conversation and sharing about stewardship in their congregations.
The feedback was very positive. Even the comment “It was a bit rushed” was followed by a request to “Please have more stewardship sessions where we can go more in-depth in a specific aspect or two of stewardship.” And the most common topics mentioned related to year-round stewardship programs and the importance of a spiritual understanding to provide the foundation for stewardship.
So, mark your calendars: on Thursday, May 16, 2013 we will host another stewardship evening at Episcopal House at which the focus will be developing year-round stewardship programs. We will have a light dinner at 6 p.m. followed by providing information and sharing experiences that will be helpful and practical.
Even if you attended the February Evening, you are welcome to attend this meeting as we go deeper with a focus on Year-Round Stewardship.
