On Sunday, June 12, you are invited to join Bishop Hughes and Senior Ministries of the Diocese of Newark for the 25th annual David P. Hegg II Lifetime Achievement Awards.

The Hegg Awards are given annually to members of our diocese who are:

  • Age 60+.
  • A long-standing, active member of your congregation.
  • Made or makes contributions to the congregation and/or the diocese.

(You may honor up to four individuals based on these guidelines)

The service will be pre-recorded and broadcast on the diocesan YouTube channel,, with the honorees presented in a photo slideshow.

This is a completely "virtual" event and no one will be in attendance in person.
