Once again our youth have the opportunity to continue to play major roles at our diocesan convention! Teens in grades 10-12 are enthusiastically encouraged to serve in the following roles:
- Lay Deputies (Deputies are able to vote on resolutions! Youth lay deputies are chosen by the Districts. Contact your District Convener.)
- Lay Readers for Eucharist
- Lectors (including Prayers of the People in foreign languages)
- Pages (help count votes and assist other Convention leaders)
- Sacristan Artists (help design the altar hangings for the services)
- Youth Ministry Ambassadors (working at the Youth Ministry table; promoting our programs and events to other members of the Diocese)
- Singers and musicians
- Ushers and greeters
Our youth will have fun with other young people from the Diocese and learn more about the way it functions. The fee for this experience is only $45. The registration deadline is Friday, January 4, 2013. Download the registration form.
