Racial Justice Anti-racism training is a 2½ day workshop retreat led by trained members of the Diocesan Anti-Racism Ministry. The workshop’s approach emphasizes learning from history to understand systemic racism, confronting internalized racial oppression, and actions to organize against the many forms of racism. Spanish/English interpretation is available upon request.
Dates: November 8 – 10, 2018; Thursday evening and all day Friday and Saturday; Follow-up debriefing to be announced.
The workshop is a residential retreat, beginning Thursday with group dinner at 6:00 PM followed by training until 9 PM. Friday and Saturday instruction begins after breakfast (provided) at 8:30 AM. The workshop ends on Saturday at approximately 4 PM.
Note: Participants must attend the full 2½ days to receive a certificate of completion.

Participants pay a $50 nonrefundable registration fee to reserve a place and offset tuition, meals, and workshop costs; non-members of the diocese pay $450, which includes a shared room, or $550 for a single room

Participants may choose to commute.
