[Chatham Courier] Back in December, middle school students at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church came up with a new way to give Christmas gifts.

The program offered an opportunity for parishioners to support socially responsible giving in honor of their families and friends through gifts to non-profit organizations on a local, national, and international level: The Seeing Eye in Morristown, families in need in Newark, The Episcopal Relief and Development fund, and schools in places as far flung as Nepal.

The program was so successful, raising more than $2,600 for the four charities, that the young people decided to keep it going.
