On Saturday, May 4 at 5pm, the Senior Choir of St. Elizabeth’s, joined by our Children’s Choirs, will present a Service of Evensong.
Noted for its beautiful music, Evensong is one of the oldest services of the Anglican Church, and its liturgy has its roots in the ancient Christian practice of ending the day with song and prayer.
A free-will offering will be taken to benefit the Donald Galletly Scholarship, which was founded to ensure that there are choristers in the pews of churches (and in the world at large) for years to come.
A reception will follow the service.
