We will celebrate this day with Evensong, a 45-minute service of Scripture, canticles, prayers, and choral music. Evensong is part of the beautiful core of the Episcopal/Anglican worship tradition. Come and celebrate with us!
Ascension Day is one of the seven principal feasts of the Church year (see p.15 of the Book of Common Prayer). The Feast of the Ascension marks the fortieth day of Easter season, when the Risen Christ returned to God the Father (Luke 24:44-53; Acts 1:1-11).
