Church or Location:
Standing Committee CLERGY Class of 2027

It was at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Morristown, NJ, in 1991 that Rev Danielle found a spiritual connection to God and the love of serving others. There, she had the pleasure of serving (and in some cases leading) in many ministries, including Church School teacher, Chalice Bearer, Lector, and Minister of Church Ceremonies. In addition, having a passion for stewardship, she served as the stewardship chair and co-chair and was on the finance and human resources committees, and supported buildings and grounds initiatives. Rev Danielle also served several terms on the Vestry and one term as Warden. Over the last 10+ years, she has embraced a newfound passion for pastoral care and brought back the Lay Eucharistic Visitor ministry.

Today, Rev Danielle works full-time at a global technology company as a Business Development Manager, leading corporate strategic initiatives and new markets that range from $750m to $6b.

On the Diocesan level, Rev Danielle is drawn to organizations and task forces that support and lift up the underserved and marginalized. She has been a very active member of the Union of Black Episcopalians (UBE) Newark Chapter serving as Secretary and now Vice President. She is also a new member of the Anti-Sexism Task Force.

Ordained as a Priest on June 17, 2022; today, Rev Danielle is the part-time Priest-in-Charge at St. Paul's Morris Plains – a parish-centric church serving their local community and neighbors through outreach, worship, and other forms of engagement.

In her own words: With my God-given gifts and experiences, as a member of the Standing Committee, I look forward to the opportunity to serve and contribute to the hard holy work and success of the Diocese of Newark as we journey ahead and live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be an example in our shared communities and the world. Thank you for your consideration, prayers and support. Rev. Danielle+
