With sadness we share the news of the death of Martha Ann Jackson "Marty" White on June 9, 2024 at her home in North Carolina.
Marty had extensive diocesan service in the 1980s. She served on Diocesan Council (Classes of 1980 & 1982), including as Vice President (1979-1982); Constitution & Canons (Class of 1985); ACTS/VIM Board (Classes of 1985 & 1988); Deputy to Provincial Synod (Classes of 1983 & 1985); Congregational Shares and Review (Class of 1984); the VIGOR (Venture in Growth Outreach, Renewal) Task Force (Class of 1984). A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Church of the Good Shepherd in Cashiers, NC.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd Outreach or Four Seasons Hospice.
Rest eternal grant to Marty, O Lord; And let light perpetual shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
