A gathering of Active and Retired Clergy in the Diocese of Newark for education, conversation, and rest!

Everyone in the diocese responsible for parish communications is welcome to participate in meetings of the diocesan Parish Communicators group, formed for sharing resources, developing skills and mutual support.

Our gathering this time will focus on handling conflict and addressing the tension in the world as church leaders, something that it is particularly important for Wardens and Treasurers to be equipped to handle with grace.

Messiah, Chester’s Senior Resource Center is having a 1.5-day quilting retreat at Highlands Ridge Barn in Chester, filled with holiday fun, self-directed sewing, expert guidance from QuiltDoc, and plenty of creativity and camaraderie.

Christ Church, Short Hills welcomes Brian Sellers-Petersen, author of Harvesting Abundance, for a workshop on how churches can use their outdoor spaces to honor God’s creation through gardens, beehives, native species, and more.

All are welcome to attend. Clergy are strongly encouraged to attend all Celebrations of New Ministry whenever possible.

A new monthly gathering for parents and guardians walking through the middle school years.

An opportunity for leaders and other in the Harriet Tubman Regional Ministry Network to gather with the Bishop.

This retreat, led by Laurie Matarazzo and Dale Selover, invites participants to rediscover their bodies as sacred, exploring what it means to be made in the image of God and to honor the divine within.
