At this gathering, Pastoral Leaders can ask questions, discuss challenges, enjoy fellowship together, and hear from our speaker, Dr. Lisa Kimball, pictured below.
Elisabeth “Lisa” Kimball is Vice President for Lifelong Learning and the James Maxwell Professor Chair of Lifelong Christian Formation at Virginia Theological Seminary. Since joining the faculty in 2009, she has become widely respected for her work in Christian formation, adult faith development, and congregational leadership, helping churches cultivate lifelong spiritual growth through practical and innovative ministry approaches.
Dr. Kimball earned her A.B. from Stanford University and later completed both her M.Ed. and Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota. Before entering theological education full time, she spent more than two decades consulting with churches, schools, and nonprofit organizations in leadership development, youth ministry, and strategic planning
