All pets and their humans are welcome to join us at St. Peter’s, Essex Fells for the Blessing of Animals.

All animals are welcome at St. Bart’s on Sunday, October 5 to receive a blessing and enjoy treats and fellowship.

Our ninth annual Celebration of Pets in the Verona Town Hall Square will include animal rescue organizations, pet-orientated vendors, DJ music, activities for kids, food vendors and a Pet Parade at 2:30pm

St. Stephen’s Church, Millburn and Christ Church in Short Hills are co-hosting a Pet Fair and Blessing of the Animals.

As we celebrate the wonder of God’s creation, we offer a blessing to pet owners and their beloved animals while we remember the life and charge of St. Francis of Assisi.

Children, Youth, and Young Adults will travel (with chaperones) to Washington, DC for the weekend of celebration, learning, and fun.

A gathering of Active and Retired Clergy in the Diocese of Newark for education, conversation, and rest!

Everyone in the diocese responsible for parish communications is welcome to participate in meetings of the diocesan Parish Communicators group, formed for sharing resources, developing skills and mutual support.

Centering Prayer, being offered by St. John’s, Boonton, is a simple practice of silent meditation rooted in the Christian tradition and is a wonderful meditative way to start the week.

Messiah, Chester’s Senior Resource Center is having a 1.5-day quilting retreat at Highlands Ridge Barn in Chester, filled with holiday fun, self-directed sewing, expert guidance from QuiltDoc, and plenty of creativity and camaraderie.

All are welcome to attend. Clergy are strongly encouraged to attend all Celebrations of New Ministry whenever possible.
