ACTS/VIM Fund

Supports programs and projects that encourage community outreach.

There is one funding cycle each year with an application deadline of March 1. Funds are disbursed in June.

Alleluia Fund for Outreach

Supports congregation-based or affiliated programs providing practical, hands-on support to those most vulnerable in our diocese and internationally.

Applications are accepted annually from August 15 to September 15.

Ward J. Herbert Fund

Provides funds for buildings that are used for congregational functions. Applications are received three times a year:

• February 15 for mid-spring funding
• April 15 for late-spring funding
• October 1 for early winter funding

Marge Christie Congregational Growth and Vitality Fund

Provides funds for the support, strengthening, development and renewal of our congregations’ mission and ministry.

Annual application deadline: March 15.

Bishop’s Church Emergency Fund (BCEF)

Provides financial support for church buildings in the diocese needing repairs and renovation, with a special focus on emergency and unforeseen needs. Four times a year, a “call” goes out to support a critical need identified by the Bishop.

Episcopal Capital Loan Fund (ECLF)

Provides congregations short-term loans to fund capital campaigns and long-term loans for major building projects.

Green Revolving Fund (GRF)

Finances energy efficiency and retrofit projects, creating energy and cost savings while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Snow Removal Relief Loan Program

At the recommendation of Bishop Hughes, on March 4, 2026 the Trustees approved an emergency loan program to assist our churches that are having cash flow and budget problems due to the enormous and unexpected cost of snow removal this winter.
