Pastoral Leader training is designed for lay ministers who are called to assist their clergy person in providing pastoral and spiritual leadership in their congregation.
Preacher training is designed for lay ministers who are invited by their clergy person to preach in public worship on an occasional or regular basis.
Our keynote speaker for the 150th Diocesan Convention will be Jim Wallis, the New York Times bestselling author, public theologian, renowned preacher and commentator on ethics and public life.

Presiding Bishop Michael Curry will be the guest preacher at this service of Holy Eucharist and Renewal of Baptismal Vows. A reception with light refreshments will follow.
Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe will attend as a special guest. 6 PM Reception; 7 PM Concert; 8:30 PM Youth & Young Adults After Party (8th grade - early 30s) to greet the Presiding Bishop.
Along with the regular business of Convention, we will celebrate the 150th anniversary of our diocese's founding on November 12, 1874.
This training has been canceled but will be offered again on Saturday, February 8th 8:30am-3pm.
