Clergy Renewal of Vows

The annual clergy gathering on the Tuesday of Holy Week (April 15) begins at 11 AM with a Eucharist and a Blessing of Oils. (For those of you new to the diocese, the only clergy who vest are those who have a role in the service.)

Oils of chrism and of healing will both be made available at the service in small blue bottles. You may also bring your own bottles to be filled during or after the service. The service is held at Grace Episcopal Church in Madison.

After the service, clergy will pose together outdoors for a photo, weather permitting. Lunch will be served in Grace Madison’s Hall for those who have registered by the deadline. Additionally, we will have a photographer present to take headshots of all clergy, which will be used for our website and new clergy ID cards.

All active clergy in the diocese are required to attend; registrations must be received by Friday, April 4 so that lunches may be ordered.

PLEASE NOTE: Clergy who are retired and/or do not live or serve in the diocese are invited but not required to attend this event, so in these cases, there is no need to send regrets.
