1. New Video: Stewardship in the Moment: Basic Pledging Benchmarks
In this new short video (9:21) we review essential pledging benchmarks every vestry member should know, including total pledge amount raised year to year, number of households participating in pledging, and your median (as opposed to average) pledge. The video walks you through a simple step-by-step guide to determine the distribution of pledges within your congregation, and showcases a "Step Up Chart," which can be a valuable communication tool for your upcoming pledge campaign. As you may have seen in The VOICE Online, you can now find a host of learning videos in one place on the diocesan website, including over 10 diocesan Stewardship learning videos for you. That's where you'll find the Pledging Benchmarks video noted above, as well as other learning Stewardship webinars on Annual Pledge Campaigns, Online Giving and Planned Giving. 3. Upcoming TENS Webinars: Sign Up Today
As previously announced, we are offering a comprehensive series of LIVE Stewardship webinars available to you for FREE through our diocesan partnership with TENS/The Episcopal Network for Stewardship. Each webinar will provide invaluable insights, guidance, and solutions to help address your church’s Stewardship challenges and questions. Each session begins at 7 PM and extends for 90 minutes and includes Q&A time. Make sure to sign up TODAY for the first two webinars that are scheduled for this month (June 22 and 29).
