Parish Administrator (part-time) - St. James’, Ridgefield

  • Parish Administrator will assist the Rector with all general office support.
  • Maintain parish records, including membership and operational data.
  • Produce reports, directories, monthly newsletter, maintain online programs, write vestry minutes and other correspondence.
  • Prepare and send mailings. Sort through incoming mail.
  • Place orders for supplies and equipment as authorized.
  • Coordinate with vendors as delegated by the Rector, Wardens and Building & Grounds Committee.
  • Coordinate parish calendar to facilitate building use by internal and authorized external groups as directed by the Rector.
  • Write minutes from monthly vestry meetings that are recorded.
  • Prepare copies for annually meeting once a year and once a month vestry meetings.
  • Have knowledge of PC programs such as Windows Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher), Gmail, Google, Facebook and Zoom. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working in a ministry office environment setting is a plus.
  • Utmost confidentiality on all business conducted is a must.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
