Bishop Mark Beckwith and elected lay and clergy deputies will represent the Diocese of Newark at the 79th triennial General Convention of The Episcopal Church July 5-13 in Austin, TX.
Attending from diocesan staff are Canon Greg Jacobs, an elected deputy and co-chair of the deputation; the Rev. Sheelagh Clarke, Interim Coordinator for Youth & Young Adult Ministries, who will lead a group of youth and chaperones attending July 8-13; and Nina Nicholson, Director of Communications, who will support the Newark contingent's communication efforts.
