December 2012 Grants by the ACTS/VIM Fund

On December 12, 2012, Diocesan Council ratified a total of $68,000 in grants recommended by the ACTS/VIM Board for their fall 2012 granting cycle.

ACTS/VIM (A Commitment To Serve/ Venture In Mission) supports programs that encourage community outreach, promote inclusivity, demonstrate responsible stewardship of resources, and offer creative vision for the church’s witness and presence in the community. Beginning in 2013, there will be one funding cycle in the spring; this is will be a change from the current two funding cycles each year.

The amounts granted for the December 2012 funding cycle were:
