With sadness we share the news of the death of the Rev. Canon Dr. Gervaise Angelo Morales Clarke, 81, on June 27, 2022. He served at the former Church of the Epiphany, Orange (now Epiphany & Christ Church, Orange).
His funeral will be live streamed at 10 AM Saturday, July 9, 2022 from Trinity Cathedral, Miami, in the Diocese of Southeast Florida. (Link to live stream above.)
He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Joan Clarke, in 2019. They had two sons, John-Paul Barrington Clarke and Michael Dudley Delano Clarke, and three grandchildren, Maxwell, Michael, and Gabrielle Clarke.
Good and gracious God, the light of the faithful and shepherd of souls, you sent your servant Gervaise to be a priest in your Church to feed your sheep with your word and to guide them by his example; give us the grace to keep the faith he taught and to follow in his footsteps. We entrust him into your unfailing mystery of Love and Hope through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
