With sadness we share the news of the death of Dr. James Staats "Jim" Little, 76, on February 8, 2023 after a short illness, peacefully with his loving wife, Nancy, at his side.
Among his many contributions during his long career as an organist and choirmaster, Jim served at Calvary, Summit and St. Paul’s, Chatham, and participated in the music at the consecration of Bishop Mark Beckwith in 2007. Read his full obituary here.
A service honoring Jim and his musical talents will be held on Saturday, February 25 at 2 PM at Calvary, Summit. Individuals who have sung with Jim are invited to help form a choir for the service and asked to please wear a touch of red – his favorite color. Also, please call the church office at 908-277-1814 so they know how many singers to expect.
