She also served as a Deputy to the Provincial Synod (1993, 1996, 2000, 2002), on the Cathedral Chapter (Classes of 1981 and 2005), and on Diocesan Council (Class of 2001). In The Episcopal Church, Doris was a longtime member of the diocesan chapter of Episcopal Church Women, serving as its President (2001-2008) and representing the Diocese of Newark at several of its Triennial meetings. She also was active with United Thank Offering. Read her full obituary.
