Death in our diocesan family: Arthur E. Perkins Jr., husband of Terry Perkins

With sadness we report the death of Arthur E. Perkins Jr., husband of Terry Perkins, on June 10. A celebration of his life was held last Saturday, June 15 at Church of the Redeemer in Morristown.

Terry is a member of the Mission Strategy Committee and a long-time consultant known throughout the diocese.

Arthur was an active contributor to social justice ministries at both the Unitarian Church in Summit and Church of the Redeemer in Morristown. He sang in the Summit Chorale for 14 years and participated in the choirs at both churches.

In addition to his wife, Terry, he is survived by his children, Arthur III and Geraldine; his brother, Richard; his sisters, Anne, Barbara and Deborah; his Aunt Ruth; four nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and -nephews and two cousins.
