[Bloomfield Life] Christ Episcopal Church, bordering Bloomfield and Glen Ridge, dedicated its renovated nursery school on Tuesday, Oct. 4, during an open house and ribbon cutting by Bill Seemen and Jane Bannon.
The Right Rev. Mark Beckwith , bishop of the Diocese of Newark, blessed the spaces.
This project started in February 2014 about a month after the Rev. Diana Wilcox joined the church. She brought up that the church space wasn’t big enough, and she wanted more classrooms for the nursery.
"I feel so excited for the opportunity that this will provide for the ministry, and that this is guided by the Holy Spirit," Wilcox said.
