CFO announces proposed 2014 budget adopted by Diocesan Council

In September 2013, the Budget & Finance Committee met to begin developing the proposed budget for the year 2014. It held a Budget Forum in October, open to all from the diocese, at which the preliminary budget was presented. Following that, the Committee met to make adjustments to the preliminary budget with the goal of developing a balanced budget where expenses are equal to income.

The Proposed 2014 Budget was presented to Diocesan Council at its December 11, 2013 meeting, was accepted as submitted, and is available here.

During the next several weeks additional information will be developed in preparation for presentation of the Proposed 2014 Budget at each of the three Preconvention Meetings scheduled for January 8, 9 and 11, 2014; that information will be sent to deputies prior to the end of December.
