New York City's role in the historical significance of different religious groups is explored in an hour-long special on THIRTEEN NY, God in New York, narrated by Need to Know anchor, Jon Meacham.
 
In the second portion of the program, Meacham moderates a roundtable discussion between Rt. Reverend Mark Beckwith, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark, W. Deen Shareef, Imam of Masjid Waarith ud Deen and Waris Cultural Center of Irvington and Matthew Gewirtz, Senior Rabbi at Congregation B'nai Jeshurun in Short Hills, who work together to promote religious harmony in the New York metro area, as they discuss diversity programs and shed light on issues of intolerance.
