Bishop Hughes is planning to schedule services for Confirmation, Reception, and Reaffirmation of Baptismal Vows this summer, in July and August, for all those candidates originally scheduled for 2020. Services were postponed because of the pandemic and the necessity for these services to be in-person.
If you were a candidate in 2020, please keep an eye out for an email from diocesan staff member Jane Jubilee to verify that you can attend a service this summer. Additional information will follow, including specific dates and a sign-up process.
Additional plans are in process for any candidates who have been preparing for a 2021 Confirmation, Reception, or Reaffirmation service. Later this year, more information will be provided for those candidates. These summer services are primarily for those who have been waiting since May 2020.
