Alleluia Fund

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all …”
Ephesians 4:4–6a

These words from Ephesians have echoed through our common life recently—at the baptismal font on All Saints’ Sunday and again at diocesan convention—reminding us that we are one people, united in Christ.

In uncertain and unsettled times, that unity must take visible shape. The Alleluia Fund is one of the most important ways our diocese lives out that unity, and right now, the Alleluia Fund needs you. Through it, we join together to support ministries that bring hope, dignity, and connection to people who are struggling and often feel alone.

Across the diocese, Episcopalians are putting their baptismal vows into action through Alleluia Fund–supported ministries. Partnerships like the Lighthouse in Jersey City and St. James Episcopal Church in Upper Montclair have grown into what participants call a “sacred partnership,” rooted not in “doing for,” but in truly “being with.” At the Jubilee Outreach Community Center’s food pantry in Orange, volunteers nourish both bodies and community through food, relationship, and care.

Last year, the Alleluia Fund awarded $175,000 to 24 programs—the largest total in its 15-year history—helping families put food on the table, find stability, and experience God’s love through the Church’s presence.
