Youth trip to the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, NYC

The First-Third of Life Commission (formerly the Youth Commission) is excited about the upcoming opportunity to tour the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine together. This trip is open to all 6th-12th grade youth in the diocese, along with their chaperones from parishes.

REGISTRATION

The registration form should be filled out for each youth and each youth leader/chaperone. All adults MUST have completed the Safe Church trainings. Note: The covenant applies to ALL participants, youth and adults.

Registration deadline: Sunday, January 5.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

• Depart (various time depending on meeting location, below)
• 9:30 AM – Everyone arrives at the cathedral (regardless of transportation options)
• Guided Tour of the Cathedral
• Scavenger Hunt in the Cathedral
• Lunch as a Group (Location TBD)
• 2 PM – Return for home (various arrival times depending on meeting location)

MEETING LOCATIONS

We will meet at the following NJT Stations and travel together to the Cathedral:

• Summit 7:30 AM
• Lyndhurst 7:50 AM
• Ridgewood 7:30 AM
• Secaucus 8 AM

OR you may also meet the group at the Cathedral by 9:30 AM.

More communication about travel, etc. will be sent to registrants after January 5.
