Our third speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas, Canon Theologian at Washington National Cathedral, hosted by Trinity & St. Philip’s Cathedral, Newark.
Our second speaker will be the Rt. Rev. Rose Hudson-Wilkin, Suffragan Bishop, Diocese of Canterbury, UK, via Zoom. Please register by Jan. 27 to insure you receive the Zoom link.
Our first speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Amy Peeler, Associate Professor of New Testament at Wheaton College, via Zoom.
All youth candidates are strongly urged to attend our Confirmation Retreat. The event usually includes group-building games and activities, worship and an opportunity to meet in small groups with Bishop Hughes.
This gathering a quiet, small-group setting will enable adult candidates to build on their faith journey to confirmation, reception and/or reaffirmation.
This trip is open to all 6th-12th grade youth in the diocese, along with their chaperones from parishes.
