Christ Church in Short Hills is delighted to host Interweave’s Book of the Year celebration featuring A Change of Habit by Sister Monica Clare.

Publishers Weekly praises the memoir as “a tender autobiography [that] offers encouragement for any reader who’s struggled to find their place in the world.”

Sister Monica Clare is the Sister Superior of the Community of St. John Baptist in Mendham, NJ, and a spiritual counselor specializing in religious trauma, mental illness, and addiction. Before becoming a nun in 2012, she worked as a photo editor in Los Angeles, performed in an acoustic rock duo, and appeared in an improv comedy troupe. A longtime friend of Interweave, she has also been featured on The Today Show and Anderson Cooper 360.
