Hegg Awards

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, you are invited to join Bishop Hughes and the Commission on Aging of the Diocese of Newark for the 27th annual David P. Hegg II Lifetime Achievement Awards. This event begins with a reception at 3 PM, followed by the awards service.

The Hegg Awards are given annually to members of our diocese who are:

• Age 60+
• A long-standing, active member of your congregation
• Made or makes contributions to the congregation and/or the diocese.

(You may honor up to two individuals, or couples, per church based on these guidelines.)

The deadline to submit honoree information was Friday, May 16, 2025 at 5:00 pm.
