Feast of St. Pauli Murray

Please join A Larger Circle for Evening Prayer celebrating the feast of St. Pauli Murray at St. George’s Maplewood on Wednesday, July 1st at 6p. Daily Evening Prayer: Rite II will be used with an excerpt of St. Pauli’s work.

A grassroots movement of congregants within the Diocese of Newark, A Larger Circle was formed to provide social opportunities for the local LGBTQ+ Episcopal community. The name is taken from a St. Pauli Murray quote: “When my brothers try to draw a circle to exclude me, I shall draw a larger circle to include them.”
