Deconsecration and Farewell for 31 Mulberry

On January 31, 2025, NJPAC will take possession of 31 Mulberry Street in Newark, officially concluding the building’s 28 years of service to the Diocese of Newark, which began in February 1997. While the diocesan staff is beginning a new chapter in Livingston, 31 Mulberry will also begin a new chapter, supporting the arts in Newark.

To mark this transition, Bishop Hughes will lead a service of Deconsecration and Farewell at 31 Mulberry on Thursday, January 9 at 11 AM.

All are welcome to join the diocesan staff at 11 AM for this brief service, followed by light refreshments. Please remember that on-site parking is limited.
