The annual clergy gathering on the Tuesday of Holy Week (March 31st) begins at 11 AM with a Eucharist and a Blessing of Oils.
Oils of chrism and of healing will both be made available at the service in small blue bottles. You may also bring your own bottles to be filled during or after the service. The service is held at Grace Episcopal Church in Madison. Directly after the service, we will gather for our group photo.
After the service and photo, lunch will be nearby, at Il Mondo Vecchio (72 Main St #1, Madison), instead of at the church. This is a 2-minute drive, or 8-minute walk from Grace, Madison.
All active clergy in the diocese are required to attend; registrations must be received by Friday, March 20th so that the restaurant can prepare.
Active clergy unable to attend Clergy Renewal of Vows, please send regrets to Bishop Hughes directly.
PLEASE NOTE: Clergy who are retired and/or do not live or serve in the diocese are invited but not required to attend this event, so in these cases, there is no need to send regrets.
