Advocating for Effective Action: Making Your Voices Heard

The Justice and Peace Commission invites you to explore effective practices to make your voice heard! Episcopalians are called to live our faith by working for the good of our communities and to draw attention to and disrupt unjust systems. Advocacy engagement is therefore the work of Episcopalians.

But how can we most effectively advocate for justice? Legislators and government officials need to know what we think and how laws are affecting us and our neighbors. There is no shortage of immediate issues that demand our attention. This training will not focus on specific issues but rather provide the basic information and resources for Legislative Outreach and other Direct Actions.
