A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols

St. George’s Episcopal Church in Maplewood offers its annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.  This service, a Christmas Lessons and Carols, will walk through the story of the incarnation, accompanied by carols for the choir and for the congregation. Choral music includes works by Boris Ord, Arvo Pärt, Andrew Carter, and Sarah Quartel. Congregational carols include familiar tunes and a few carols from other parts of the globe.

The service is at 5:00 p.m, and the Rev. Grant Mansfield officiates. The event will be live-streamed on the church’s YouTube account. You are invited to join either in person or online. Masks are optional for all in attendance.

A freewill offering goes to benefit the music ministry at St. George’s.
